Itinerary

DAY 1

Beijing | Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China

Check into the 5 star Four Seasons Beijing. Sample authentic cuisine or browse local stores just steps from the hotel.

DAY 2

Beijing

Visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. In the afternoon, Visit the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowager Ci Xi.

DAY 3

Beijing | Excursion to the spectacular Great Wall in the morning

Drive by the Olympic National Stadium, “Bird’s Nest” and Water Cube. Enjoy Beijing Duck Dinner in the evening.

DAY 4

Beijing - Wuhan - Yichang

Fly to Wuhan at the junction of the Han and Yangtze Rivers. Visit the Hubei Provincial Museum. After lunch, you will be transferred to Yichang and board the five-star Yangtze No: 2 Cruiser approved by the National Tourism Administration of China or similar class. Dinner on board.

DAY 5

Yangtze River Cruise

Depart from Yichang at 7:00AM. Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site around 9:00AM, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. Continue sailing through the Xiling Gorge, the longest section of the Three Gorges system. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party hosted by the captain.

DAY 6

Yangtze River Cruise

This morning we will board smaller boats for a trip up to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. Enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains as you pass through the Wu Gorge. Continue to the last of the Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge.

DAY 7

Yangtze River Cruise

Shore excursion to the mysterious Ghost City, Fengdu. Explore the local farmer’s market, residence, and kindergarten. Enjoy a farewell banquet in the evening.

DAY 8

Chongqing / Chengdu

Our cruise concludes as we arrive in Chongqing. City tour and the General Vinegar Joe‘s Museum where you will see the pictures of the Flying Tiger heroes in the World War II and will be proud of their marvelous events and. Take afternoon high speed express train to Chengdu.

DAY 9

Chengdu - Xian

Early morning departure for a rare opportunity to visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Center to witness the conservation efforts being made to save this endangered species. The center is the largest giant panda reserve in the world. Then flight to Xian (in flight meal) and check into the five-star Grand Noble Hotel located right in the heart of the city or similar. Free of leisure in the afternoon for your own strolling along in the downtown.

DAY 10

Xian

In the morning, visit the highlight of the tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi’an, as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8,000 lifelike Terra-Cotta Soldiers. In the afternoon, visit the Terra-Cotta Soldiers reproduction factory. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner, followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!

DAY 11

Xian - Shanghai 

In the morning, flight to Shanghai and visit the newly developed Pudong Area. Check into the 5 star Four Seasons Shanghai. Enjoy Acrobatic Show at night.

DAY 12

Shanghai

Today's sightseeing introduces the major attractions of the city, which includes, Yuyuan Garden, the bund on the city’s waterfront, which was the international area developed during the colonial era. Enjoy your shopping activity in the afternoon at Nanjing Road. Evening river cruise on the Huangpu River to see the colorfully lit skyscrapers.

DAY 13

Shanghai

Suzhou is one of the oldest towns in the Yangtze basin, founded in about 600 BC. With its interconnected waterways and beautiful environment, the city is often referred to as "The Venice of the East." Suzhou was one of the few cities in China to escape the ravages of the cultural revolution and its famous gardens survived almost completely intact.
